What I done in year 9.

Last year we done many things such as movie posters , adverts for products , movie trailers where we filmed in the playground and around the school.

New Artist Practical

They band name i am gong to choose will be ODD DAZE

The logo/design for my CD cover is going to be the name in a charcoal style effect to look like scratched writing in two colours purple and black then background is going to be a green purple and black gradient going down at a angle, there will be changes during my design stages so it may look different.

this will be a rap/hip hop band

this will be unique because they will do other stuff apart from music like skateboarding.

Music - Research

OFWGKTA (Odd Future) got famous by many things such as a clothing brand and by writing songs since they were teenagers and they consist of 12 artists. They genre of this band is alternative hip hop and R'n'B. The best and well known song is 'Yonkers' by Tyler The Creator and i think it has reached number one out of all them songs because it ha a good tune and he explains most of what he has done in his life. Have a unique name and style of music. Some members of the band would go round main cities and towns and handing out free tracks to the public and most likely a address or website to see more of the band/artist. OFWGKTA has started in 2007 and it took them 5 years to get famous.







These are two cd covers of Odd Future's music the main differences are the photos one is just a symbol of there logo and one is picture of one of the members with different over sized facial parts. Some people on the street could think it is funny and when they read the back of it and they see it is rap some people might buy it and like the tracks.

Description of Fast Five.

On The poster they are all wearing roughly the same clothes these are either a polo shirt t-shirt with jeans but then behind the car there is a army officer/policemen with cargo trousers instead of jeans and the props they are using are a Dodge Charger RT Muscle Car and multiple weapons including a handgun, a pump action shotgun and a assault rifle.

Their body language shows that they are ready to cause trouble/defend  themselves against other  people.

Their facial expressions show that they are aggressive and that they means what ever they does.

From what i can see they have not altered the color of the sun and the scenery but apart from that they have red bold writing with a really thin white outline and they main actors in white above the title.

In the poster the location they are in is rio which gives it away at the bottom where it says "Rio Heist" and it shows that it is a really sunny place.

People can stereotype young teenagers by what they wear and who thy hang around with and when a old person sees them they could get scared and might think they would get robbed and hurt because the teenagers are much stronger than a elder person.

what makes a good film trailer

a good film trailer needs the name of the actors clips of the film e.g: best clips most exciting clips .

Most of th film trailers have a voice over which will tell you what is happening in the scenes.

Most people use special effects to make i look more lively or scary like in the Rec 2 trailer.

This uses effects on when the infected attacks the SWAT team. It makes the clip rewind and then play a couple of times. And it has a scary ambiance to try ans scare the viewers. 

Ideas for my website.

For my website i would have The title at the top the release date at the bottom the background either the film poster or a picture that is during the movie like a action scene. Also i would have link to the characters/actors and a page that links you to the poster and two buttons either to print or to save also a page to watch the trailers. On the background i would have a gun just laying in the corner.
